. Our $10,000 wedding in June .

Addendum to previous post.

Well, that vendor let us down as well… Not only did they send us the wrong colored fabric, but their customer service is completely unresponsive. Who knows how helpful they will be the day we finally hear back from them.

I wonder if we’ll have any table linens at all during the wedding. :(

Addendum to the addendum: Wow, their customer service actually called us back and will correct the wrong bolt of fabric by Wednesday. After having called all morning and emailed today and Friday, I am so relieved to hear back from them at last.

So we’ll be hemming 10 tablecloths on Wednesday, but I don’t anticipate that to be an issue, because hemming has been rather quick work for me (so long as I don’t have to cut and resize or add lengths to what’s there).

Wedding hair: I basically want a less-casual version of the above. I bought a pretty decorative butterfly, even. Yay, I’m excited for my wedding hairclips! (I am sure the casualness of the photo’s going to worry somebody. Umm… don’t worry about it? I feel like I’ve been saying that for the past six months.)

The more DIY your wedding is, the more work it is. But—at the same time—the more rewarding, personalized, and memorable it is.

Not that we really need an arch because we would be surrounded by trees anyway (a natural arch from God’s creation, aww), but this chuppa-looking arch from a Hawaiian wedding looks really awesome. I think we might be going with streamers though.

… I mean, I guess this beats the dog park we were originally gonna hold the ceremony at…
Assuming there’s enough people to claim this particularly large 1st-come-1st-serve spot in the park, we might have a new ceremony venue.
